Since I was a young girl, I always had an interest in baking. When I graduated from High School, I obtained a job at a local grocery store in the bakery department, and quickly became fascinated in my job. Within a couple of months, I moved up to the Bakery Manager/cake decorator position, and realized I could turn my love for baking into a career. I attended Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, Ca, and graduated with my degree in Patisserie and Baking.
After a few years, I switched jobs, managing and decorating wherever I went. When I was ready, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own business from home, Shea's Cakes! Orders have been flying in and I couldn't be happier with my choice.This allows me to have the freedom to work from home while focusing on raising my family. What could be better than that?
Shea's cakes is a scratch bakery, and a Cottage food Operation. I specialize in American buttercream cakes, and decorated sugar cookies. All orders are unique and are such a joy to create.
